I realised, some time ago (when I was considerable lighter in weight) that there is a VERY thin line between hunger and boredom, and so, after my second packet of maltesers and realising that I am not hungry... REALLY. And having a mountain of sorted/categorised/organised photographs on my kitchen table (I've been sorting them out in the hope of getting on with my PROJECT LIFE albums) that continue to stare at me (accusingly), begging me to either put them away or DO something with them! I have decided to put my boredom aside (and my maltesers) and attempt a scrapbook page.
My boredom buster...

heheheh your post gave me a giggle - totally with you there! Great page too - I love the layers, the doodling, the splashes and the colours remind me of sunshine and blue skies. Thanks for playing with us at SJ Crafts :o)
ReplyDeleteHi Annie, thanks for the comment, it was great fun to try out a scrapbook page, thanks for the challenge and inspiration at S J Crafts... happy crafting :-)
DeleteLovely page Karen. The blues and yellow is gorgeous!! Your post has made me crave maltesers now!! lol! Thanks for joining in with the S J Crafts monthly challenge Sarah x
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the time to comment, Sarah... I found S J Crafts BlogSpot very inspirational, the DT are all very talented. Keep having fun and at least maltesers are "the lighter way to enjoy chocolate" :-)
DeleteOne thing I love about crafting is that my fingers are busy and I don't want crumbs on my creations ... so not only am I not bored, I'm less likely to nibble!
ReplyDeleteLove the blue yellow combo of your page and what a great fun photo :-D
Thanks for the comment, if only I headed for the craftroom instead of the chocolate cupboard (yes, I have a cupboard dedicated to chocolate!). Not many crumbs escape ME! I've really enjoyed giving this 'scrapbooking thing' a go, thanks for the inspiration x
DeleteThis page is fabulous! I love how the light in your photo makes the pebbles look blue and that's reflected around the page. The misting is perfect. I also have trouble eating when I'm bored, but also when I'm frustrated! Crisps are my real downfall though. Good luck staying out of the chocolate cupboard. Thanks for joining in the SJ Crafts challenge! x
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid the chocolate cupboard is raided on a (far too) regular basis! Thanks for the comment... you girls at S J CRAFTS are fab! I find it hard to express myself well enough to other crafters to be either, helpful or encouraging... but you lot have managed to hit the crafting nail firmly in its head, with your wonderful comments. Duly encouraged, I must crack on with tidying my craft space (hahahahaha, like that's gonna happen!). Happy crafting x
